collina silenziosa
Collina Silenziosa was originally a large vineyard estate, built somewhere around the 1800's. It included hundreds of acres of perfectly manicured lawns dotted with centuries-old oak trees and statuary rows of climbing grape vines. A large estate overlooked the grapevine valley from the sloping hill located near the back of the land, while a smaller workers' house was built in a standing of towering trees only a few feet from the rows of grapes. The two stone buildings were built to be as grand as the original owners were rich, each and every rock lining the outer walls hand-picked by the builders and accented perfectly inside and out with dark maple beams and terra cotta shingles directly from Italy. But misfortune plagued the once-successful vineyard, and now the solemn estate lies silent atop it's hill, watching over the deadened valley beneath. The vines have grown into a thick maze of branches, and a dense fog seems to shroud the valley perpetually. Board description by Image.
